I was born and raised in the Ottawa area, and spent most of my career in the federal government. My passion, however, is creating beauty out of glass - whether it's a small sun catcher, a fused glass bowl, or a custom portrait of a beloved pet!
I have taken numerous courses in stained and fused glass over the years, including several workshops with world-renowned teacher Patty Gray. I continue to hone my craft with online tutorials and love to explore the world of glass art.
My studio is located in Crystal Beach, in Ottawa. My work includes stained glass, fused glass and mosaic - but I'm always on the lookout for new, creative ideas.
My sister, Anne Gervais, joined me in the studio in 2018, after becoming what she calls "a glass addict" after taking a glass course. She has since attended other glass workshops to help refine her skills. Annie's (as everyone calls her) creativity and passion for glass art inspire me. It's so nice to have someone to share my addiction as well! A third sister, Francine, AKA Beanie, has joined the studio as well! She is the one who is the most patient with the fussy little pieces, and has an incredibly sense of design.
